The storm Sandy is dominating the eastern Seaboard. Inland, we have the winds, heavy air, deep layered clouds, and a feeling of oppression. The birds flew in loud patterns to new roosts just before the weather changed. The cat came in hours early to ensure his bed. It is quiet here again – all too quiet. The last time I felt this way was just before 9-11 – it’s too quiet. Fortunately this time we have a warning hours before the event.
A channeled entity had said that the days before the Celtic New Year – Samhain – or Halloween as most people know it would be a time of letting go. In the people versus nature, nature reminds us that while we may win a few battles she will win the war.
The crows flew to my roof cawing warnings to me. They have always been my messengers – just as they did before 9-11. Projection is a dangerous thing – almost as much as expectation. We do what we can to prepare for the unknown, but in the end we step off the cliff. We will find what we are made of.
